The seeker, having understood the scriptures, must try to attain self-knowledge in order to get mukti or liberation from the cycle of birth and death. This talk explains about the bondage that arises from the insatiable cravings for sense objects, and the different aspects of desires. It elaborates on the attitude of a seeker when he approaches the Guru,
as well as the attributes of a Guru and the different the types of disciples there are.
