We must understand that these names are not just a name for the sake of calling but each name has a deeper meaning and it points to an aspect of or an attribute of that form of Lord Shiva. Contemplating on these names helps us to imbibe these qualities, deepen our faith, sharpen our intellect, leading to Surrender of the ego and Union with the Supreme Lord.
