In this episode of Check It/Round Table Onna discusses Star Trek Picard S1 E4--Absolute Candor and its ties to the story of Esther.  Onna elaborates on how the planet of Vashti reminds her that Vashti maybe had it a lot better than Esther, who got stuck with a crazy king who dressed up trees and why martial art nuns are super cool.  Onna digresses on why Elron is a pretty obvious tieback to Elrond in LOTR and why binding one's sword to lost causes is a pretty food thing to do.  Onna also explains why she admires Picard because he binds his sword to the lost cause and doesn't care if it is a lost cause because it is the right thing to do.  It's all here.  It's all real.
