In this episode of Check It/Round Table Onna discusses the premier episode of season 2 of We Best Love and how this pilot further solidifies her opinion that this series is a BL version of Jane Austen's Emma with Goa Shi Di as Mr. Knightley and Zhao Shu Yi is Emma and as mad as hell at Goa Shi Di which makes him do really, really, REALLY stupid things.  This episode opens with Goa Shi Di being slapped and shocking the whole office who cannot imagine Gao Shi Di doing anything slap-worthy.

Gao Shi Di then visits Zhao Shu Yi at home, forces himself into the house, and cooks Zhao Shu Yi dinner and though agreeing that Zhao Shu Yi has a reason to be angry and hate Gao Shu Yi he has no right to use gender as a dig against Gao Shi Di.  The episode concludes with Zhao Shu Yi suggesting something stupid as a way to get back at Gao Shi Di in the most stupid way he possibly could.

Onna concludes with a consideration of the intro and overall the kindness in relationships shown by Gao Shi Di and Pei Shu Yi and the balance in healthy relationships.  It's all here.  It's all real.
