This week, \u201cLadies' Night\u201d continues at Catching Up On Cinema as Kyle and Trevor sit down to review Corey Yuen's Yes, Madam! (1985).
\nProduced by Sammo Hung, the film serves as an early showcase for the martial arts capabilities of it's dual leading ladies', Michelle Yeoh and Cynthia Rothrock.
\nThough the women carry the bulk of the action spectacle, the majority of the film's runtime is actually devoted to Tsui Hark, John Shum and Mang Hoi's farcical escapades as a trio of immoral grifters that get in over their heads.
\nColorful, and unapologetically silly, the film is an outstanding, if grossly uneven example of 80's Hong Kong cinema.
