This March, \u201cVHS Cover Art\u201d Month returns at Catching Up On Cinema!
\nEvery week we'll be reviewing films with incredible cover art from the VHS era.
\nThis week, Kyle and Trevor review Mark Pavia's film adaptation of the Stephen King short story of the same name, The Night Flier (1997)!
\nOriginally airing on HBO and starring a foul-mouthed Miguel Ferrer at his surly best, The Night Flier (1997) is a vampire film that is more of a detective story than the outright creature feature vibes that its cover art might suggest.
\nShot on a tight 30 day schedule, The Night Flier is nevertheless a well-constructed and performed horror flick that is rife with King-isms, ultimately resulting in a cozy watch for fans of King and vampire fiction alike.
