This April is “Cyber Techno Future Shock” month at Catching Up On Cinema!

All month long we'll be reviewing some of the goofiest “techno-thrillers” from the 90's.

This week, Trevor conducts a solo review of Rachel Talalay's, Ghost in the Machine (1993)!

A story of a serial killer that continues his killing ways after being transformed into a electrical force that can inhabit and manipulate all things connected to the electrical grid, Ghost in the Machine (1993) is a colorful and at times silly horror film that plays fast and loose with science and physics.

Featuring Final Destination-esque, Rube Goldberg machine style kill sequences, happy rap, mischievous/petulant kids with floppy hair, and copious amounts of CGI, including one VR sequence, Ghost in the Machine is terrific nostalgia fodder for those of the cowabunga generation.
