In the final part of our 4 part series through the book of Ruth, we are greeted with hope. Prior to chapter 4, Ruth has gone to Boaz and offered herself as his wife if he is willing to redeem her and the land of her mother-in-law. \nBoaz is blessed by the offer, but let's her know that he must offer it to the person who is the closest in the family line, first. \nIn chapter 4, we find Boaz making the trip to see this man. Boaz operates in shrewd wisdom toward the man, as we'll discover in our text.
