In Philippians 3:1-13, Paul is going to write about things that he writes about a lot: Relationship to God. But he doesn't mind repeating himself at all, because he says it's safe. \nMany in Paul's day were going around and using the name of Jesus but adding to his finished work of salvation with rules of don't touch, don't taste, don't feel. And to top that all off, they emphasized circumcision as a requirement for a relationship with God. \nFalse relationship with God can creep into our lives. We must be reminded all the time, just as Paul has done here in our text.
