My guest is seven time Emmy Award winning Screenwriter/Producer and Director, Steven Feld.
Steven began his career in 1982 with an aim to become a screenwriter for Television and Film, but instead found himself working as a producer for non-fiction television. He is an avid lover of Old Hollywood, and his most treasured moment in working in the business, was producing the Bob Hope retrospective for NBC. In his own words below, he describes the experience. Here the full story next Friday! “ I moved here from Denver in 1982 to be a writer in films and television. But found myself working as a producer in non-fiction television, which is how I ended up doing the Bob Hope retrospective for NBC. That turned out to be the greatest experience of my professional career. Interviewing all those legends- Mel Brooks, Steve Martin, Woody Allen, Alan Alda, etc. was like a dream come true. And getting to know Bob Hope and his family and getting access to his famous joke vault was an experience like no other. “
