The Mental Health Affects of Being 'Canceled' - Katie Herzog

Published: May 14, 2022, 12:19 p.m.

Katie Herzog is a queer journalist and podcaster. In 2017 Katie wrote an article about trans people that transitioned back to their birth sex. Katie didn't expect the results that followed. A small but loud group made her life hell. She received endless hate online, she lost several friends, posters calling her a Nazi sympathizer were put up and she was shunned by co-workers. Today she is a popular co-host of the podcast Blocked and Reported. Katie and I discuss the emotional and mental health affects of being 'canceled'.
