How To Manage Deep Work & Social Life

Cal Newport wrote about deep work and presented such a wonderful concept that it's definitely worth sharing.

Deep work could be understood by "the ability to focus without distraction on a cognitively demanding task. It's a skill that allows you to quickly master complicated information and produce better results in less time. Deep work will make you better at what you do and provide the sense of true fulfillment that comes from craftsmanship. In short, deep work is like a super power in our increasingly competitive twenty-first century economy. And yet, most people have lost the ability to go deep-spending their days instead in a frantic blur of e-mail and social media, not even realizing there's a better way."

However, for some people, deep work means giving up your whole life in order to... just work.

As a previous author, I recognize the importance of developing soft skills as part of your personal development journey.

Building technical skills and just focusing on work will not make you someone to be proud of. You'll need more.

In today's video I'm going to share why balancing deep work and social life is important and how you can mix both of them to achieve your full potential.
