Meet my friend Shannon and her daughter, Shauna. Friends for over 20 years. I've seen the worst of the worst. The lowest of rock bottom and trying all those years to help her. Guide her. Support her. Shauna was there during every step of the way. No one saw what was coming. How Shannon toughed it out. How she fought through the addiction. Through the rehab. And to come out Shining....a new life, a new world, and to talk about it. This is the first time that she could come forward with what happened and how she fought back to come out and be successful at her new business. A business that she pours her heart and soul into. About To Shine is her love, her life, and now she speaks her words to help others fight the addictions. The rock bottom pit of hell. The recovery process. And those who never gave up on her, who never judged her. Shannon tells a story, along with Shauna supporting her. Yes, she was nervous, but in reality, she made me cry.
