In 2012 she moved to San Diego and works with an underserved population. She has worked hard to maintain the NAPBC accreditation at her affiliated hospital, Sharp Grossmont Hospital. She stresses the treatment of the \u201cpatient as a whole\u201d and believes that outside of the exam room is where the difference is made in a patient\u2019s long term outcome.
