THE WOLFE’S DEN opens at the beginning of the author’s life continuing into his early twenties. It is written in first person as Paul, the author, recalls his childhood as a continuous movie of abuse and violence. Many of the names and locations in the first book have been changed in order to protect the identity and privacy of certain people.

The book is a compelling, intense and visceral read that will keep you on edge as you follow Paul’s struggles and his eventual forgiveness of the father who abused him.

Included in the book is the following excerpt of a poem by Robert Muller, originally printed in the Flagstaff Daily Sun, that captures the spirit of forgiveness for Paul as well as the other people who helped him heal the scars of abuse he suffered as a child.

DECIDE TO FORGIVE

For by forgiving

You become the master of fate

The fashioner of life

A doer of miracles

To forgive is the highest

Most beautiful form of love
