She is reunited with her children and bullied into using new abilities to find and help heal victims of human depravities by members of a secret international law enforcement unit. The victims she and her counterpart locate are rescued but not all have their happy endings. Life is not always fair.

Although the situations in the novel are totally fiction, the story has an underlying ring of today's news headlines. Children are disappearing and being victimized all over this planet. Every socio-economic layer has its share of perversions.

* Parents sell unwanted "extra children\u201d.
* Underground businesses cruise social media sites mining for the oversharing of personal information to target potential victims.
* "Misunderstood" teens join on-line dating sites intended for adults and fall into the clutches of unscrupulous predators.

And that's just a sample. The novel touches on another reality of these victims. Venereal diseases, physical abuse, mental abuse and pregnancies are part of their reality. This is the life of far too many innocents.

My hope is to stir some small action on the part of the reader to advocate for these unfortunates.
