Honoring Kana, Hilo\u02bbs Deity of Cord, Tangar\u014d shares his personal journey toward the innovative manifestation of the corded wear. He weaves and knots mythology, history, and the culture of knowledge acquisition in this presentation, sharing how he uses the processes of "Hawaiian art\u201d to build indigenous leadership capacity in the University of Hawai\u02bbi System. The intersection of dreams, tradition, innovation, and indigenous wellbeing are driving forces behind his works.
