I don\u2019t recall where I heard this but it seems to ring true about fly fishing. For some people it\u2019s about the art of the cast. They love the soothing back and forth of the line as they attempt to whip it to the ideal spot. I\u2019m sure Mike would agree with that statement along with a heavy dose of peace and tranquillity that come with it.
Lucky for him that day on the Jackson river, his senses were acute enough to detect something was amiss. And when you realize that something wants you to leave, you can almost appreciate the fact that it didn\u2019t escalate, especially when you\u2019re not armed.
