Velma Kelly may or may not actually be a supporting character in \u201cChicago,\u201d but Catherine Zeta-Jones hits all of the BSA notes in her award-winning performance in the 2003 Best Picture winner. But it was a big year for women in film--in particular, Meryl Streep, nominated across both categories for her work in \u201cAdaptation.\u201d and \u201cThe Hours,\u201d which we spend at least a few hours queening out on. We also discuss Renee Zellweger\u2019s award-worthy turn as Roxie, Queen Latifah\u2019s Gloria Stuart nomination, John C.
