195 The Difference Between Love & Lust
I have heard people say many times that \u201cYou can\u2019t help who you love\u201d, as an excuse for people who find themselves in a bad situation or who made a bad relationship choice. I disagree with this statement entirely. Perhaps what they mean is that you can\u2019t help who you are attracted to, I agree with that. But we can help what we do about that attraction. Just because we are attracted to someone does not mean it would be a good idea to pursue them as a relationship\u2026there has to be more than just attraction to create an environment where true love can flourish.
