Beyond SAE: Racism in the Hip-Hop Generation

Members of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) fraternity at the University of Oklahoma were expelled after they were caught on video singing a racist chant about black people and lynching. Although outrage over the video has sparked healthy dialogue about race relations, other conversations have been destructive and completely bizarre. We discussed how racism has changed in the millennial era, and how hip hop has affected it.
