Gathering 66: Black Panther and the Rest of Us

Published: Feb. 18, 2019, 11:30 p.m.

T’Challa, the powerful warrior known as Black Panther and King of the Wakonda, had a moral dilemma. His nation had the resources and technology to make the world a better place. Should he keep their resources to themselves or share them with others? We too live in a world engaged in the tension between isolation and altruism. Jesus transformed lives by sharing his views with the world. As a church, do we also have a moral obligation to share our view of God with others? What if that view was a more open progressive understanding based on not only the Christian traditions of biblical scripture but also on the modern sciences, literature and technology? Listen to the fifth message of the MARVELous Living series with Pastor Tony Minear, Ph.D. and discover how to lead a more MARVELous life by sharing your tradition of faith with others. Learn how the act of sharing your passion for this valuable resource in Jesus can enrich society.   If you like what you hear, please donate at this link to help us continue to spread this message. https://www.beatitudeschurch.org/online-giving Recorded live at Church of the Beatitudes in Phoenix, AZ on 2/17/19 Preaching: Rev.
