Gathering 119: Inclusivity: A Value Worthy of Our Nation

Published: Feb. 16, 2020, 11 p.m.

What does inclusivity look like? Tune into the news on any given day and you’ll get a glimpse of what it’s not. The polarization and fanaticism so prevalent in our daily lives seems to render inclusivity a pipe dream. But is tolerance an achievable notion? Jesus was tolerant, and as Christians we strive to model his example. So why isn’t that enough? Join Pastor Tony Minear, Ph.D. for a provocative look at inclusivity for not only the individual, but for spiritual communities like Beatitudes Church and for the nation as a whole. Take a moment to dream and explore what a world might look like where inclusivity was not only valued and honored, but celebrated! A world where nations gripped by intolerance and prejudice were replaced by nations rooted and grounded in inclusivity. Discover ways in which you can manifest a spirit of inclusivity right where you are. Let’s dream, and then do it! Recorded live at Beatitudes Church in Phoenix, AZ on 2/16/20 Preaching: Rev. Tony Minear, Ph.D. Scripture Reader: Nancy Klatt Scripture Reference: Acts 26:1-11 If you like what you hear, consider donating at: https://www.beatitudeschurch.org/online-giving
