Jesus is still having trouble getting the disciples to understand who He is and who God, the Father is. He knows they will be persecuted for proclaiming their faith in Jesus as the savior of people and tells them that when they need His help in proclaiming that faith that they should ask for assistance, in His name, and He will help them.
