Finding Rest, A day off to just Be and not Do? A day off is \na good thing!
The Sabbath is one of the oldest institutions in the \nworld, dating, as the Bible makes clear, from the very earliest appearance of \nman upon the earth, when God blessed and hallowed the Sabbath. Later, it was \npart of the Law given to Moses and Israel. Many Christians today are troubled -- \nconsiderably at times -- by the question: "Should we be observing the Sabbath \nyet today?" There are certain Christian groups who feel that this is the case; \nin fact they insist that we are not genuine Christians unless we observe the \ncommandment of God to keep the Sabbath continuously.
Then Jesus said to \nthem, "The Sabbath was made to meet the needs of people, and not people to meet \nthe requirements of the Sabbath. Mark 2:27 NLT
Heaven and Earth were \nfinished, down to the last detail.
