Does he/she know deep things like \nthe things that made you feel safe or afraid as a child?
First heart felt \ndisappointment? First heart felt sense of belonging for you or him / her?
How \nabout her/him? do you know these deep, heart level things about \nher? 
Have you asked her/him? brought this stuff out?
