The Daily Mess Who Are You

We are living in the period where two movies have completely taken over our imaginations in a world where going to a theater was completely out of the question. I worked at Regal long before the Covid lock down, theaters were already hurting. But for a brief moment here in 2023 Barbie and Oppenheimer have served as a magnet to pull people back to the big screen. Looks good on paper but the writer and actors strike has the power and ability to sink the ship. Who are the business leaders saying no to the fine art and act of the artist? They're striking for very very good reason! Who are the one's not understanding the deeper reasons to not only protect but offer better pay to the people on the big and tiny screen? We're human! If movies and binge watching shows stop, non Hollywood people will create newer ways to find an audience.
