The Daily Mess Remove The Mask

Keeping the soul unmasked. A challenge and a chore. It's so much easier to be someone or something you're not. But it's close enough to convince the passerby. The echo effect paints the face of solitude. Where's the gratitude? Being in a place of peace doesn't require the the heart to be mindful. Combining the two though is bliss. To make it last longer than a moment is the battle. Content changes every minute. A place of acceptance can easily be turned inside out. Where you once stood is now gone for good. What did you learn? How far did you travel? Where are the mile markers on a day of fog and stuffiness? Moving through the distance must be recognized beyond clear vision. You must be able to see in all directions. When a mask is being worn, peripheral vision suffers. Know the entire picture and not just what lays before you. Never trust what remains behind. For you have no eyes in the back of your head.
