The Daily Mess Put Listening First
February 20, 2023 Learning how to put listening ahead of being the lead speaker in a conversation. Having the courage and confidence to say free of being the know it all. My practice mat is being a fan of podcasting. Not as the host but rather the listener. It teaches my reasons to react to hold back. They can’t hear me! Being a listener teaches me more. An outsider’s output doesn’t equal the best input. Too many conversations are brutally injured by the human need to offer an opinion. Now try and go back to the origin of the subject. A lot of progress is lost. The art of listening doesn’t need a battery pack to operate properly.
