I must be getting old. I don't get disappointed with myself for wanting to get an additional thirty minutes of sleep. Yet I'm not having dinner at 4:30 in the afternoon. Nor am I burping and farting in public and acting like it didn't happen. We do say things that older people get away with. It's some unknown rule that states the elders say bad stuff and it's easily written off out of respect. Mom and Dad always talked about their legs, back and arms hurting. What they never spoke about was the ache. There's a difference. Hurt then ache. On this podcast we take that very connection deeper toward how we treat people. We know of the hurt but do we have empathy for the ache we cause?
