Openly I admit, I'm deeply affected by S.A.D. Seasonal Affective Disorder. Not because of the most recent time change but four back to back days of gray rainy skies. Making your way through intense mental storms requires positive activities. Breaking the daily habits. I step into the kitchen to create happy food. Making yourself aware of how many hours you're putting into binge watching television. Take a transition walk or go for a long ride in the car. Break the daily habits! Look at other well rounded objects rather than staring into the flat screen. Writing is a very important tool when it comes to not getting bogged down with S.A.D. It strengthens the mindset, empowering it to move forward. It's way too easy to fall into things you can't control. Writing is like reading a book. It activates the imagination.
