I'm just like anyone else! I want to push the job aside and go outside to play. To run like a wild child. To feed the heart and imagination with nature! The one thing I learned during the Covid lockdown was how important it is to set yourself free. My wife and I walked three to four miles everyday. The mission was to not feel like we were trapped during a global pandemic. As things have spun around toward a somewhat normal world here we are again. A lot of indoor hours with no time to run. The calendar says this and I want to do that! Doctor's say we should take daily mid afternoon naps. I can't do that! That's an addiction that takes years to break free of. No matter where you are, when the clock says it's nap time you've got to feed that monster or your mindset will want to fight with everything. As I've grown through life its been extremely important to create the right path with waking up, eating and going to sleep. If there's an interruption that means losing sleep. The time limits I live by are set to keep from having an addition to down time. No matter who you are or where you are, getting out of school between three and four o'clock always came with rest time. Whatever your age your body still wants that rest time. We battle with it and try to leap free of it with power drinks, coffee or pills. Breaking that habit isn't going to be an easy journey. Awareness always wins. When you lose your energy wake up with thinking positive thoughts. It will take time but it's well worth it.
