The Daily Mess A Page

The moments when you wish you had a page. Something to keep for yourself or to share with others. Not to suddenly throw it out there into the digital universe for others to judge or think they know you. Missing from so many lives is the mystic of one's personality. Getting to know someone through conversation deepens the length of the friendship. I don't know who I'd be today if I had social media as a teen in the late 1970's. That's when we were still passing notes. Thoughts on a page. Items you could savor. I don't get that feeling from emails or text messages. Today authors are doing all they can to put physical books in people's hands. Musicians want fans and followers to buy albums and cd's. Something very physical. I can't make the jump from a page to a digital notebook. The texture isn't the same. Especially after a giant wet sneeze leaves goobers all over the written word.
