Dictionary.com defines a misfit as being a person whose behavior or attitude sets them apart in an uncomfortably conspicuous way. Which sounds more like a judgement call. In 2002 I entered the world of martial arts and wrote a lot about how every student in class was very much a misfit. We were all working on something personal. Be it discipline, depression, working out or needing a social connection. We were misfits. It actually feels pretty incredible to be weird.
