While one-shot films are not a new concept, the first being Hitchcock's Rope (1948), the technique has had a renaissance in recent years, most notably with Oscar Award Winning 1917. Films shot to look as if they are done in one consecutive shot are difficult to film, but films shot in one shot and in real time are a whole other ball game. ONE SHOT uses this technique to create an action film like no other. As you watch the film you are barreling through the twists, turns and explosions right alongside the characters. This experimental film is raw, riveting and a new addition to an ever growing genre of one shot films.
The film is directed by James Nunn (Jetski, Tower Block), written by: Jamie Russell and starring Scott Adkins (Ip Man 4, Triple Threat), Ashley Greene Khoury (The Twilight Saga, Bombshell) and Ryan Phillippe (Shooter, Crash).
SYNOPSIS: In an effort to prevent a terrorist attack on Washington D.C., an elite squad of Navy SEALs led by Lt. Blake Harris (Scott Adkins) and a junior CIA analyst Zoe Anderson (Ashley Greene) must retrieve a prisoner from a CIA black site island prison.
