Joe Lindsley, American journalist traveling by train across Ukraine to a city near the Western border, speaks with Andriy Tavrin, a Kharkiv native who works in business development on a mission to encourage and amplify human capital. They met at the Shuk café, with authentic Israeli food in snowy Kharkiv.
Some of Andriy's points:
—"When I was younger, my mom gave me The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin. I got inspried by his story when he settled down in Philadelphia ... how he made his lead generation"
—"We are very open to everything and we are eager to try everything that works. And this is an attitude of Ukrainians."
—"If I did something wrong yesterday, I go on the Internet and I google some success story of Swedish people or Israeli people or Chinese people, and I try to adopt."
—"When you have a constant flow of talent that is educated, that has hunger and willingness to work, to grind hard, the sky is the limit."
