Over the last two decades, Americans’ have truly loved the Japanese cartoons known as Anime. Some of the biggest attractions have been the Anime series Pokemon and Sailor Moon and anime films such as Ghost in the Shell and Akira.
The annual Anime Expo, held at the Los Angeles Convention Center attracted less than 2,000 fans in its first year in 1992. In recent years, well over one hundred thousand passionate fans filled the convention center.
