One of the Nickelodeon’s most iconic series from the ‘90s, the original Are You Afraid of the Dark? delivered riveting stories of horror to young audiences. Now, a brand new Are You Afraid of the Dark? returns for its second season of chilling tales as told by the young members of the Midnight Society. Are You Afraid of the Dark?: Curse of the Shadows follows an all-new Midnight Society group of kids who learn of the terrifying curse cast over their small seaside town, and are haunted by a mysterious creature known as the Shadowman. This season, the new Midnight Society members must use their wits to destroy an evil curse that threatens their lives.



One of the Midnight Society members is Luke McCoy played by Bryce Gheisar. At a young age, Bryce has already worked alongside Hollywood’s biggest stars with starring roles in A Dog’s Purpose with Dennis Quaid; Wonder starring Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson and Clint Eastwood’s The 15:17 to Paris. He also recently starred in Nickelodeon’s hit series The Astronauts from executive producer Ron Howard.

Are You Afraid of the Dark?: Curse of the Shadows comes from executive producer and director Jeff Wadlow. No stranger to horror, Jeff directed recent popular horror films such as Truth or Dare and Fantasy Island. He also produced the frightening FX series The Strain about a mysterious viral outbreak that ravages New York, as well as the acclaimed Norman Bates origin-story series Bates Motel.
