Called to Be Different
Reading from The Gospel According Matthew 12:9-14 (NLT) ~Jesus Heals on the Sabbath~ Scripture reading followed by discussion. Pharisees focused on how to take offence and bring charges against Jesus instead of the need of the man. The sheep would have been work related. Jesus was not like other “healers”. Jesus restored life and the spiritual leaders responded by plotting His death. The shame, guilt and embarrassment within the Pharisees that escalated things from bringing charges, to plotting murder.
