Reading 1 Samuel 13:1-14 (NLT) ~ Scripture reading followed by discussion. 1 Samuel 10:7, Saul’s failure in patience, faith, and obedience. The circumstances made Saul feel like he had to take matters into his own hands. Saul trying to do what he thinks is right. Saul’s response was blame and excuses as opposed to confession and repentance. God’s heart is not blame and excuses, it is truth and love.
