When Carolyn Walker-Diallo, New York City Civil Court Administrative Judge, took her oath of office in 2015 with her hand on the Qur\u2019an, the public recoil was instant. She was called \u201cun-American,\u201d a "jihadist" and a \u201cterrorist.\u201d For a time, she and her family were under armed guard.\n\nIn this new Diversity Dialogue podcast, Justice Walker-Diallo, the first Muslim person to serve as a judge in New York State, discusses Islam and her spiritual journey.
