Hollywood. As we keep telling you, it\u2019s not really on the maps anymore. It\u2019s not a town and hasn\u2019t been for years. It\u2019s just another part of Los Angeles that doesn\u2019t look nearly as great as it does in the movies or on postcards. It\u2019s a little run-down, more than a little seedy, and desperately trying to hang onto its former glamor like an aging actress that\u2019s had one too many facelifts.\xa0

But Hollywood is a place for reinvention. Such is the case with the once famous Knickerbocker Hotel \u2013 well, not the by the hour part, but you\u2019ll soon understand what I mean \u2013 it started as one thing, became another, and then something else altogether.
