When people are slouched and closed-in on themselves, they not only feel less powerful, but they appear less powerful to others.\nConsider: Are your shoulders\xa0slouched?\xa0Or are they back, with your chest open?\xa0Are you spreading yourself out physically?\xa0Are you smiling?\xa0Is your body upright?\n\xa0\n\xa0\nTips for power-posing your way to confidence:\n\nStand with your arms up, legs spread out, shoulders back and chest out.\xa0Take up space and breathe deeply!\n\nIf you can't do this at the moment, imagine you\u2019re doing it, or do it in the bathroom\xa0before your important\xa0interview or presentation.\xa0You can even do it while\xa0talking on the phone.\n\nYawn!
