During the nearly five and a half years of the Obama presidency, America has been moving in the wrong direction. The U.S. economy continues to struggle through the longest and slowest recovery from recession since World War II. From Benghazi to Ukraine, U.S. foreign policy has collapsed. U.S. world leadership has receded to a low not seen since the 1930s. Have we hit bottom yet?\xa0\n\nDespite the appalling state of affairs, we might be optimistic about the future if it wasn\u2019t politics as usual in Washington, D.C. President Obama, and Democrats in Congress continue to campaign on manufactured issues\u2014Republicans\u2019 war on women, income inequality, and global warming\u2014intended to distract Americans from President Obama\u2019s failed leadership. Republicans, on the other hand, continue to play whack-a-mole politics, failing to provide Americans with a specific vision for America\u2019s resurgence, and ineptly investigate Obama administration scandals. 2014 is our last best hope to fire the life-time politicians and replace them with Patriots.
