Adam Campbell spent the first 17 years of his life on the beaches of Nigeria where he developed his love of the outdoors. He now calls the Canadian Rockies home where he is an environmental & business lawyer. He is also a co-owner of Canada\\u2019s largest trail running series.
He has competed in, and regularly placed on the podium at, some of the world\'s most challenging and competitive mountain running races and trail ultramarathons.

We met Adam in 2014 at the finish of Hardrock 100 where he finished 3rd despite he and Aaron Heidt being struck by lightning on Handees peak. \\xa0Our podcast with Adam after his finish. \\xa0Our video with Adam.
On August 30th, 2016, Adam\\xa0experienced a near fatal accident while attempting the Horseshoe traverse through Roger\\u2019s Pass in BC, with runners Nick Elson and Dakota Jones. \\xa0Adam talks about his experience, lessons learned and his new reality of being a trail runner.
