Published: Oct. 5, 2020, 8 p.m.

In this episode, I talk through a simple checklist a hiker can use if they struggle with back pain.

==

We all know back pain is a terrible thing. There is nothing so stressful, so scary and so debilitating as recurring back pain.

And if you are preparing for a significant hike, and you struggle with back pain, it can make things tricky.

Because you need to be careful with longer hikes, you need to be careful with heavy pack training and you need to be careful with types of strength training.

It can sometimes all seem a bit overwhelming.

And in everyday life, this is bad enough. But if you have a significant hike looming over you, with a start date that gets closer and closer, it can really cause you a lot of stress..

I know.

Because I have seen this countless times.

But I will tell you right now; there is a solution to all of this.

It is possible to get fit, strong and resilient for a hiking adventure, even if you struggle with back pain.

It is possible to make a significant reduction in your back discomfort, while you are simultaneously improving your hiking conditioning.

It is possible to get yourself back to fully enjoying your adventures, without that dark cloud of fear looming over you...

And this is all possible with the right guidance, support and advice.

If you have found any of this resonating with you today, If you struggle with back pain while hiking and are sick of it ruining your fun on the trail, I am here to help.

This October, I am starting a new back pain Case Study group, and I'm looking for hikers who want to make a change.

So if you are interested in significantly reducing your back pain over the next 12 weeks, while at the same time improving your hiking fitness, then find me on Facebook or Instagram and shoot me a message with the words' CASE STUDY', and we can chat.
