b'Peter Thomas has been a serial entrepreneur for more than four decades, specializing in franchising and real estate development. Peter is recognized as one of North America\'s leading developers and lenders of his time. He has developed billions of dollars in real estate projects, from hotels, multi-unit apartments and condominiums to golf courses.\\n\\nPeter is the past Chairman and Founder of Century 21 Real Estate Canada Ltd., founded Samoth Capital Corporation, a Canadian public real estate company now known as Sterling Centrecorp Inc., and developed the Four Seasons Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.\\n\\nThomas also recently stepped down as Chairman of Dogtopia, a dog daycare, boarding and grooming franchise across North America and is currently Chairman Emeritus. He is also an investor in the Canadian, Seattle and Colorado Dogtopia regions.\\n\\nThomas Pride, his private holding company, is still actively involved in the real estate market. They provide bridge financing for developers to acquire multi-unit apartments and also acquire multi-family apartment projects built in the 70\\u2019s and 80\\u2019s that are over 100 units. They renovate the apartments and put them back on the market.\\n\\nAnother recent venture is Urban Communities with a mission to improve people\\u2019s lives through the development and redevelopment of sustainable communities, creating value for residents, stakeholders, and society. They are developers, investors, managers and visionaries and call this \\u201cProfit with Purpose\\u201d.\\n\\n\\nFor his philanthropic contributions, in 2002 Thomas founded LifePilot, a not for profit organization that teaches values based living and leadership workshops to business owners, students, prisoners and individuals. In 2008 the Todd Thomas Institute for Values Based Leadership was established at Royal Road University in Victoria BC.\\n\\nPeter is also the Chairman Emeritus of the Entrepreneur\'s Organization, Chairman of the Thomas Foundation in Canada and the Todd Thomas Foundation in the US, and recently became Chairman of the GSEA\'s in Canada.\\n\\n\\nHe has also authored many books including two bestsellers: \\u201cNever Fight with a Pig\\u201d and \\u201cBe Great.\\u201d\\n\\n\\xa0\\n\\nSelf Sabotage... we all do it.
