Dr. Burton A. Clark, EFO has been in the fire service for 53 years. He\\u2019s known he was a Dyslexic since early childhood and is passionate about reducing the stigma around firefighters with Dyslexia.
\\xa0
Dr. Clark\\xa0was the Management Science Chair\\xa0at the\\xa0National Fire Academy.\\xa0His degrees are in business and education. He\\xa0served on 20\\xa0dissertation\\xa0committees.\\xa0He was a\\xa0Visiting\\xa0Scholar at Johns Hopkins\\xa0University\\xa0Center for Fire\\xa0Safety Research and Policy.\\xa0
\\xa0
He\\xa0is\\xa0a\\xa0board member of the\\xa0Fire Service Psychology Association\\xa0and Expert\\xa0Technical\\xa0Reviewer\\xa0for National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health Fire Fighter Fatality Investigation and Prevention\\xa0Program.\\xa0\\xa0In 2021 he was inducted into the National Fire Heritage Center\\u2019s Hall of\\xa0Legends.\\xa0

About the Host

Gasaway, PhD, CSP is widely considered a trusted authority on human factors, situational awareness and the high-risk decision making processes used in high-stress, high consequence work environments.
