Nick Fuller; Researcher into preventing weight re-gain

Published: Feb. 23, 2021, 12:18 a.m.

Welcome to the podcast! Episode 94 is an interview with Nick Fuller. Nick works as a clinician and researcher looking at the biological imperative to regain weight (why 95% of us fail long-term on our weight-loss journey) and how we can overcome the body’s usual response to weight loss. Many people embark on a running journey to lose weight (myself included), so this discussion is particularly relevant in helping people met their long-term goals in keeping weight off. For a future episode, I am asking the question, “What did you learn from 2020?” This can be running or endurance sports related, or not! All you have to do to contribute is go to the show notes and click the link to send me a message with your thoughts. Glenn Vinar gives five stars and says: Great podcast I’ve listened to many of Isobel’s podcast episodes now and they are enjoyable and informative. She has many great guests and covers a wide range of running related topics. I like the fact the episodes are usually fairly long (45-60 minutes) go into good detail on the topic being covered. These are conversation style podcasts and feel pretty easy listening. Isobel has a likeable personality and I find myself relating to a lot the things she has to say. Thanks so much Glenn, I really appreciate it! If you enjoy this episode, please do go on over and rate and review. As racing comes back with a vengeance, I am getting busier and busier. I have now only a few athlete spots left. If you are interested in structured, individualised training, email me  isobel@peakendurancecoaching.com.au Enjoy the interview with Nick!
