In this episode, I talk with Amanda Tran after finding an interview she had with the Asian Americans for Cannabis Education. I became curious about her work with MedMen and in the operations side of the cannabis industry. And resonated with her mission for social justice and mental health with cannabis as an Asian American woman.

**Disclaimer: Cannabis can be used to improve wellbeing in some consumers, but it does NOT replace formal therapy for serious medical conditions. I am not a medical professional. If you are experiencing disabling thoughts, emotions, or behaviors, please seek professional help. The wellness applications of cannabis are still being researched. Please proceed consciously.**

We talked about:

• How Amanda used cannabis to manage her stress and burnout
• Weed is like many things, it can be used for both good and bad
• “Weed is like therapy, you can have a bad therapist that might ruin what you think about therapy, but there are many different styles of therapy.”
• There’s a lot of social justice to be had with cannabis
• How cannabis affects culture at large, and within Asian American communities
• How cannabis unblocks creativity by letting go of perfection
